About Carol Krieger, Licensed Acupuncturist, RN

After caring for patients for years as a Registered Nurse, I first witnessed the power of acupuncture when it was used to treat my horse after a devastating illness.  That experience led me to explore acupuncture and herbal medicine for myself.

I have seen the effectiveness of acupuncture as an integrative therapy for many conditions.  My vision is to use it in combination with traditional medical treatment to provide the best possible outcomes for patients.  Using different styles of acupuncture allows me to customize treatments to each patient’s unique condition.

In keeping with my vision of integration, I have treated patients of different ethnicities, cultures and ages with a wide variety of health conditions. I have worked in diverse settings, including an outpatient medical center, community health centers, a nursing home, and patients’ homes.  As a Research Assistant for an acupuncture study on Gulf War Illness, I developed a strong interest in veterans’ health problems.

Whether you’re interested in preventive care or want to address specific health issues, I look forward to working with you.
